Wash by hand, mostly
All our pieces are designed to survive a delicate wash on a cool cycle, but the machine is rough on Chantilly and bias-cut silks. A few minutes of hand-washing, in cool water with a small drop of pH-neutral soap, will add years to a piece. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sun.
Never wring silk; press it gently between two clean towels. For lace, smooth the panels back into shape while still damp.
